Providing Support In More Ways Than One

Genie Bra shown is not yet available for sale.

It’s amazing the response we’ve received from so many women who have gone through some sort of breast surgery and love the Genie Bra. From cancer patients to other breast surgery patients, the Genie Bra has helped them find comfort and ease. Read on to find out what some women have been saying.

A unique feature of the Genie Bra is it comes with the magic pouch. Not only can you slip in removable pads, but, if needed, it can fit a prosthesis as well. Women have taken advantage of this pouch in that way and have found it to really help. Not to mention how comfortable the Genie Bra really is! Just take a look at what women are saying for yourself…

“In 2005, I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. At my age I didn’t want an implant nor did I need one. They took out the tumor and had my treatments. What I didn’t know is how hard it would be to find a bra that would fit me, being I had one breast larger than the other. I bought and tried the Genie Bra today unsure of the size. It is a life saver. I no longer have to wear dark colors to hide my imperfection. Thank you, Thank you! Never used to wear a padded bra before but this is so comfortable for so many reasons. I hope all breast cancer women give this a try. It made me so happy and confident. Just can’t say enough and will tell everyone who will listen. Thank you.”
- Anita F.

“I purchased the Genie Bra. I like all that the Genie Bra brags about… the fabric, no hooks, etc. I have had breast surgery and it seems like the perfect bra.”
- Karen M.M

“The Genie, with its side inside breast opening, allows for insertion of a breast form. Mastectomy bras are far more costly, but the Genie Bra works wonderfully and holds the breast form in place.”
- Kay H.

“Stella, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your bras. I have had a double mastectomy and never have found the bra that fits comfortably. Well, I just did with your bra. The fact that you have a pocket in each side( though small) I was able to put my prothes. inside of each. It feels great! You should definitely advertise those how have had a mastectomy can wear it too. For future, maybe make the opening to the pocket just a bit more bigger! Thank you, Thank you!!!!”

I am a breast cancer survivor (mastectomy) who could never find a bra to “fit”. I was resigned to underwires because I needed the lift. Today I discovered the genie bra and it is the most comfortable, supportive bra. Thank you for thinking of us.

I was looking for a comfortable bra also. I am a breast cancer survivor and I mistakenly bought the Ahh Bra. The mistake I find now is the Ahh Bra has no pocket for my refill. Now I am on the hunt for the Genie Bra.If it fits as you say it will, the Ahh won’t be wasted. I’ll just have another color. Thanks for all your help.

I am a 16 year breast cancer survivor. Surgery and radiation left my left breast WAY smaller than the right, and I was always uncomfortable about it. I have found that if I wear the insert on one side, I am finally even again! I also use the insert with my other bras. Very cool, thank you!

Hi there everyone, I just wanted to tell you something in 2005 I had a right sided mastectomy due to breast cancer, it was so difficult getting a bra that would look and feel even slightly normal and comfortable. Two years later I had the left breast taken as well and then it was even more difficult to find a bra to hold my prosthesis properly and with some sort of comfort, I was resigned to the fact there was no bra on the planet that would help. Then I saw the tv ad for Genie bra I bought then just last week and OH MY GOD it’s fantastic I never would have believed it possible to feel comfort again. I actually don’t even notice when I have a bra on now the comfort is incredible, I would tell any breast cancer survivor that has had any type of breast surgery to get the Genie bra it is truly incredible. THANK YOU SO MUCH XXXXX

I saw an infomercial about the Genie bra. I could identify with all of the ladies, and I was so uncomfortable all the time, I decided to throw caution to the wind, and buy them. They took about 6 weeks to get here, but I have absolutely no complaints. They are all I was told to look for and more. Two weeks ago, I had a routine mammogram done and they found a lump I could not feel. The following week, I had a biopsy, that was more like a lumpectomy. I was told to wear a good bra, and should be fine. Well, I went home after surgery, put on my genie bra, and have had virtually no pain. When I went back to the Dr. a week later, he was amazed at the lack of bruising and swelling. When he left the room, and the nurse came back in, I had just put my bra on. She said that was why I didn’t bruise or swell. The bra held me in place comfortably and I even slept in it and it kept everything from shifting around. I LOVE YOU, Genie Bra! Thank you so much. I do have cancer, but we caught it fairly early. I am looking at more surgery, but with this bra, we can do it!

I ordered a package of two from Bed, Bath, beyond, they didn’t have my size, but they ordered it right off and the shipping and handling was free and also got a 20% discount price too. I got them by UPS, and I love them, they do fit good and lift you, even for bigger busted woman such as I am. I am planning on buying more genie Bras.

Linda November 25, 2011 at 1:50 am

Hi, I have been watching the commercials for months now, but as I have a mastectomy and wear a prosthetic [silicone or soft bean bags! lol] I have been hesitant. But you ladies seem to find it comfortable and it sounds like some of you were a fake boobie! Yes? I would like to hear from anyone who wears a prosthetic with their Genie bra. I love the concept, simple design and admire the craftsmanship. Just don’t know. But if it works, out go my over 60 apiece bras! Can anyone suggest? Oh, and I love the colors!!

I have always been an “underwire girl,” so was dismayed when told I could not wear an underwire bra during the almost seven weeks of radiation I have to go through. As a middle school teacher, I needed more lift and shaping to feel comfortable in my class than I had been able to find in any sports bra. I bought the Genie Bra two-pack at Bed, Bath and beyond and so far have been pleased with it through my first two weeks of rads. It’s comfortable, but offers enough “shaping” (38C) to look good under clothing.

Hi,ladies: I have the same concern as Linda.
Is it the Milana bra you wear or the original genie bra?

shirley cross January 26, 2012 at 1:43 am

I love my Genie Bra’s they are so comfortable and you don’t know you have them on…..I wear mine for all occations….

Kathy March 29, 2012 at 3:40 pm

@Linda: I just started wearing Genie to accommodate two–count them, TWO–”foobs” (fake boobs). Mine are the expensive kind, designed to be worn against the skin. But my skin reacts badly to the rubber. So, I slip them inside the pocket (difficult, given their size), but it works GREAT! Just ordered a bunch more. Good luck! :)

I am a breast Cancer survivor. I have been watching the Genie Bra comercials but I was unsure if it would really work for me. I have been battling bras that hurt around my nack and under my breast. I saw that the Genie Bra was for sale at a local dugstore so I tried it . I love IT !!!! I am going to order more. It is a God sent. Thanks Genie Bra for making my life more comfortable and affordable!

After my surgery to have a bi-lateral mastectomy, I had implants put in. Both sides have a valley in the middle from the scar tissue. The Genie Bra has really helped my self esteem. The inserts mold to my shape, but also maintain their own roundness which creates a filled look. I have tried other inserts but the Genie Bras are the best.

This week, I will be having a follow-up visit with my doctor and am taking him the paperwork on the Genie Bra so he can recommend it to all double mastectomy patients. I had breast cancer, and subsequently a double mastectomy, more than two years ago and it took me almost 2 years to find a bra that would work for me. I was getting ready to pay $300+ for custom made bras, since my breasts were no longer traditionally shaped, nor equal in form/size. I decided to order the Genie Bra and try it and it was very successful. Having found this bra has truly made me feel more normal than I have in over 2 years. I think you should market more to breast cancer survivors! Thank you for a product that has helped to make me feel whole!

Pat Trotta October 5, 2012 at 6:22 pm

I am four days post-op mastectomy and I am wearing a Genie bra with 3 pads in the surgical side and no pad on the other side. I look normal already. This product is far superior to the post-mastectomy camisoles they try to sell you. I have 9 of these bras and wear a fresh one daily during this post surgical period. Yes, please market these to mastectomy patients! Very comfortable.
